THE ZOUTE GRAND PRIX CAR WEEK 2025: THE EDITION OF RECORDS, PREMIERES AND INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

13 October 2025

AN EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL 16TH EDITION ONCE AGAIN ATTRACTED CROWDS AND PUT THE EVENT ON THE GLOBAL MAP.

KNOKKE-HEIST, 12 OCTOBER 2025 | The 16th edition of the Zoute Grand Prix Car Week was a resounding success. The addition of an extra day made room for a host of new initiatives and a programme more impressive than ever before. Three rallies in different categories, classic/iconic/GT, the return of a Concours d’Élégance, the arrival of the BMW Art Car Collection, the world premiere of a brand-new hypercar, and two auctions by prestigious auction houses that together sold over 41 million euros worth of unique cars.

From the initial announcement to the final day, the event delivered record-breaking numbers!

"After successfully rebooting the event in just four months last year, our entire team has shifted not just one, but several gears up in recent months," says Koen Van Hout, CEO of Zoute Grand Prix. "Thanks to the cooperation of the municipality, we were able to introduce numerous new elements to the event — not least an extra day, and therefore an additional rally. All of this makes the Zoute Grand Prix Car Week a truly one-of-a-kind event. Nowhere else in the world will you find so much ‘art on four wheels’ in a single location — except here, in Knokke-Heist. It has genuinely put our event on the global map."

Two auctions totalling over 41 million euros in car sales

One of this year’s standout novelties was the presence of not one, but two auction houses, each offering an exceptional line-up of cars that drew collectors from all over the world. This resulted in over 41 million euros in car sales, with high sale-through rates for both houses. At Bonhams|Cars, a 1991 Ferrari F40 sold for €2,645,000. At Broad Arrow, the star of the auction was the Verde Pino Ferrari 275 GTB/4, which sold for €3,015,625.

The final result may still rise in the coming hours and days thanks to aftersales.

Concours d’Élégance and the Highly Coveted Best of Show Award

On Saturday and Sunday, the Approach Golf site set the stage for the Zoute Concours d’Élégance by ING Private Banking. Fifty rare and unique cars, divided into nine categories, competed for the highest distinction: the Best of Show Award. From 1904 to today’s hypercars, together they represent 121 years of automotive history.
The top prize, the Best of Show Award, was presented on Sunday by the international jury to a 1954 Ferrari 375 Plus Spider by Pininfarina.

All Eyes on Knokke-Heist for the World Premiere of the Capricorn X 01 Zagato

In recent years, the event has evolved into a full-scale experience that spans the entire history of the automobile — from the most exquisite pre-war classics to the latest models from leading luxury brands. Increasingly, these brands are choosing the Zoute Grand Prix Car Week as the moment to unveil their newest creations to the public. This year’s edition even featured a world premiere.

On Thursday evening, 10 October, Capricorn and Zagato presented their brand-new hypercar, the Capricorn X 01 Zagato, to an exclusive audience. Only 19 units of this exceptional model will ever be produced. The following day, the car was unveiled to the public at the Zoute Gallery by EY. That day, all eyes of the international automotive press and car enthusiasts were on Knokke-Heist.

A Celebration for Friends and for Everyone

Above all, the organisation aims to focus on accessibility and atmosphere — for the car owners participating in the various rallies, who get to share a unique moment of camaraderie and passion for their vehicles, as well as for the residents of Knokke-Heist and the tens of thousands of day visitors who come to enjoy the experience.

"What an incredible edition! Packed with innovations that were clearly well received. It was a real pleasure to see so many smiling visitors – whether during the free spectacles like the start, passages, and arrival of the rallies, on the Car Boulevard, or during the more exclusive moments. That’s exactly why we do this! And the Kids Car Rally… an absolute highlight. You just can’t help but melt seeing all those happy little faces. A huge thank you to all our partners, staff, and participants – without you, an event of this scale would never have been possible.

This may well have been the best Zoute Grand Prix week ever. And we’re already bursting with ideas to make next year’s edition even better!" concludes Marc Coucke, owner of the Zoute Grand Prix.
